Kingborough Art Prize 2014 Winner

Imagine my surprise and delight at being awarded as the winner of the Design Category at the Kingborough Art Prize 2014!

I built two box guitars as my entries.

The first one is called the “Sassy Californian Three Stringer”.

3 Strings. Tuning DAd.

Sassafras sides, Californian Redwood back and top and Huon Pine edging.

Single chrome magnetic pickup. Abalone inlayed markers.

But the second one was the winner of the Kingborough Art Prize 2014 Design Category.
